All of us who are supervised and co-supervised by Dr. Gita Ljubicic were thrilled to be given the chance to present her with the APECS-ASA Mentor Award at the ArcticNet ASM 2018 in Ottawa last week. Her longtime collaborators, Theo Ikummaq, of Igloolik, Nunavut, and Simon Okapakok, of Gjoa Haven, Nunavut, presented the award on our behalf. Congratulations to our beloved mentor!!
